[Student] Why can't I log into my account?

Do you have caps lock on?

Have you forgotten your password? If so, call the Service Desk on 6201 5500. Unfortunately the Service Desk cannot give out passwords via email due to security issues.

Have you deferred your studies? If so your account will be disabled until you resume your studies. Only currently enrolled students have access to their accounts.

If you are unsure about your current enrolment status you may like to contact Student Services on 1300 301 727.
NOTE: When students complete their studies, graduate or take leave of absence they will automatically lose access to the services that the University provides such as MyUC, Moodle and Internet access. These services are only available to current enrolled students. The new student email account Microsoft Exchange Labs (Live@EDU) is a 'for life' account so you do not lose access to your email.
If you require email or files to be retrieved from backup tape there is a fee of $45.00. You will need to email the Service Desk with the relevant details including requesting the specific files with relevant dates e.g. retrieve assignment.doc between 10/7/09 and 15/12/09 plus student name and id number.
