Entrance to Registry / Mail from Building 1 CourtyardThe Records, Archives and MailRoom Services (RAMS) is a service provider of the Information Management Directorate within Information and Communication Technology Services of the University of Canberra. RAMS provides the following services:

Records and Archives Management which consists of day to day record-keeping services as well as maintaining archival facilities for the retention and disposal of corporate records.

Mail Dissemination consisting of the receipt/collection, sort, delivery and dispatch of mail and freighted articles within the Campus.  We also dispatch articles locally, to Australian and overseas destinations through contracted postal and courier companies.

Where are we?

The MailRoom is located in Building 1, Rooms 1A110-1A111. The Records Office is located in the Scrivener Building, Room B15.

How do we operate?

The University Community sets the policy framework for the management of corporate information to meet its operational business needs, accountability requirements and community expectations. RAMS implements business rules/procedures to link these objectives and policies with recordkeeping practices.

What is the "University Community"

All entities, which have the University Council as their governing authority, are Campus Units of the University Community. These include faculties, centres, business units and student organisations.
