She has been with the University of Canberra since 1987 and has over this time worked in numerous technical and management roles within ICT at UC. Katarina has extensive experience with major ICT and Information Management projects and a good understanding of the University’s structures within both business and academic areas. Katarina’s focus is on alignment of ICT with business needs. The establishment of the EPMO is a major component of a broader Project Portfolio Management initiative which is project managed by Katarina. This initiative aims to achieve significant progress in aligning projects which have an ICT or IM component with the University’s business objectives and strategic plans. Katarina’s current role of the Director, ICT Planning and Co-ordination encompasses this initiative as well as other ICT and IM related planning, coordination and quality assurance responsibilities. Jenni RushProject ManagerJenni graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Information Management in 2001 and a Master of Knowledge Management in 2005. She has a wide range of experience in project management and support in the Government environment. Jenni has worked on major Defence equipment projects, such as the Collins Class Submarine project, as well as on Defence IT projects, including the development/implementation of Data Warehousing and Risk Management systems. Jenni's focus is on project management methodologies and assisting people to understand the value of good project management. Sheree Henley
As a Business Analyst, Sheree performs a liaison function between ICT and the business and academic areas of the University. She assists in the assessment of the scope and feasibility of proposed projects, facilitates the establishment of business requirements and supports the implementation of systems to ensure that they meet both the needs of business users and enterprise architecture requirements. Sheree completed her Bachelor of Education degree here at UC in 1983 when it was known as the Canberra College of Advanced Education. She returned to UC as an academic staff member in 2003, teaching in the area of Educational Technology in the School of Education and Community Studies and completed a Master of Education Degree through the University of Western Sydney, specialising in Computers in Learning. Since moving to ICT, she has worked on several projects including the implementation of the Student Management System, the Web Content Management System and the International Admissions Management System (CanDI). She is also studying part time for a Master of Business Informatics Degree through UC. Working in several capacities including Academic staff member, Trainer, Business Analyst and Project Manager has provided Sheree with a good understanding of the University’s structures and business processes within the business and academic areas. |
