The UC Wireless Connection: UCanCONNECT

Yes, UCanCONNECT to our wireless system now!

The University of Canberra is continually moving to expand and enhance its IT services and as such has introduced a Wireless network on campus. Once we receive feedback from staff and students, the system will be extended to areas deemed necessary for those needing wireless connectivity.

The Wireless network is available in all the above buildings and throughout the Concourse & The Refectory.

  • Building 1 - Level C Comedu 'area' from the foyer down to refectory
  • Building 2
  • Building 3
  • Building 5 - Levels B and C, partial coverage on Level A
  • Building 7 Annex
  • Building 8 (the Library) - Levels B and C, partial coverage on Level D
  • Building 9 - Level C (North side coverage on A and B)
  • Building 10
  • Building 11
  • Building 12
  • Building 20
  • The Hub   
  • The Staff Club
  • The Council Room (Building 1)
  • The Moot Court in Building 6 

To log in you will need a Wi-Fi certified IEEE 802.11g or 802.11b wireless network card installed and enabled within your laptop. Modern Macs have this already installed.
