Privacy Training

The University of Canberra takes the privacy of data very seriously. Personal data relating to Students and Staff must be treated with care and only used for the purpose for which it was collected. To assist you in understanding your responsibilities we have designed two short e-learning packages on Privacy.

  1. Privacy Training for All UC Staff - This course will assist all UC Staff to understand our Policies and Procedures in relation to Privacy of Information. All Staff should complete this course to ensure they understand their responsibilities in protecting the privacy of Staff and Students at UC.
  2. Privacy Training for Business Intelligence Power Users - This course will provide Business Intelligence Power Users with information relating to Privacy of Information at UC.

How to access the Privacy Training 

1. To access these courses please click on the appropriate course name above and follow the link to Learn On-line (Moodle). You will be taken to a page that requests you log in. Click 'Continue'.

2. Enter your staff id number and your normal system password. Then click 'Login' Moodle Login Page

3. Select 'Organisational Development' if you have access to several Moodle sites you may need to scroll down to find it. From the Organisational Development site select the appropriate course.

4. If you are required to complete these courses as part of your position requirements please ensure you complete the short quiz associated with the course and print your results for your records.
