The Health and Safety Office conducts training courses for all staff across the University campus. Some courses are also beneficial for honours and postgraduate students. Individual training needs of divisions can also be determined through discussions with Divisional Health and Safety representatives, supervisors or by contacting the Health and Safety Office on 6201 2220 or by emailing healthsafety@canberra.edu.au Division Specific TrainingThe Health and Safety Office is able to conduct training for individual areas upon reasonable request. These courses can be tailored to suit the requesting area. Additional information can be sought from the Health and Safety Office on 6201 2220 or by emailing healthsafety@canberra.edu.au RegistrationTo register online - this site us currently under construction. Notification to access this site will be announced in due course. In the meantime, completed registration forms should be forwarded to the Health and Safety Office no later than two weeks prior to the course. Participants will receive email confirmation of their registration approximately one week prior to the course. Registration forms are available here in PDF format Where the number of registered participants exceeds the number of places available, additional courses may be scheduled. However, should there be an insufficient number of enrolments for any given course, the course may be cancelled and participants enrolled in the next scheduled course. Courses conducted at ANUA list of courses offered by ANU and conducted at ANU Campus can be found on the ANU Health and Safety Training web site. Registering for such courses should be done directly through ANU by email to ohstraining@anu.edu.au or fax to 6125 5582. Once you have completed the course you will be required to notify the University of Canberra Health and Safety Office so that we may update our records.
