Health Information

International students should bring their Student Card and either their OSHC Worldcare card or Medibank OSHC Private card when they attend for their doctor’s appointment. They will be asked to show these cards on arrival. Visits to the doctor are covered by OSHC Wordcare or Medibank Private insurance.

Students without a current OSHC Worldcare or Medibank Private card may need to pay for any visits to the doctors. Visits to the counsellors and nurses are free.

For any queries relating to OSHC Worldcare membership, please ring OSHC Worldcare on 13 14 84 or contact your OSHC Worldcare representative. The OSHC representative can be visited at the Student Centre (Building 1) on Mondays: 9am – 5pm and Wednesdays: 9am – 5pm; or can be contacted via email: actcsr@worldcare.com.au

Counselling Information

Counselling Services are free to all students at the University of Canberra. This includes international students. The UC Counselling Service has an International Student Counsellor on staff to assist international students, both private and sponsored, with any personal or cultural problems.
