Adjustment

Living in a new environment, living away from home, meeting new people and making new friends and studying in a university course are all experiences that can be exciting and challenging at the same time. These experiences involve making changes in your life and acquiring new skills which can be challenging even if you take the positive view that they are rewarding life experiences. At times, you may feel like it is all too hard, or you may think you have made a wrong decision in the course or even about taking on tertiary studies. Most often these negative feelings are transient as they are very typical of the adjustment process.
