How does Gap Year Plus work?
Gap Year Plus is a six step process:
- Students apply to study at UC On being made an Offer, the student elects to Defer their studies
- The student completes a Gap Year Plus application form
- You will receive a briefing session after you have completed your registration. This may be face-to-face on campus or may be available on-line.
- The student commences their gap, collecting information and evidence of learning that can be used for a portfolio on return in the following year.
- On their return to UC, the student enrols in a unit (Gap Experience and Reflection) where they will be required to present a seminar and portfolio on their gap learning.
Students will not be accepted into the program retrospectively.
