UC Scholarship for International, Migrant and Refugee Students

This scholarship is valued at $2,000 and is available for one year for Undergraduate students studying at the University of Canberra. Please note that successful applicants will be determined through demonstrated high level financial hardship and demonstrated disadvantage. 


  • Be an international, migrant or refugee student and be able to provide evidence of financial need;
  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate degree;
  • Provide a 500 word statement demonstrating financial hardship and disadvantage and how the financial assistance will help towards their tertiary education.

Recipient Conditions:

  • Maintain a Pass average
  • Remain enrolled in an undergraduate degree for the duration of the scholarship;

In most cases, you will need to provide a written statement addressing the eligibility criteria. You will be asked to upload this along with your supporting documents during the online application process. Your application won't be considered without these.

Applying for a scholarship is easy through our Applicant portal. You will be asked a few short questions and can upload your supporting documents. Enter or create a unique applicant ID to log in. This is different to your UC ID or UAC ID.
