Apply for a pathway program to university

The University of Canberra College (UCC) offers a great range of pathway programs to help our students gain entry to university. From enabling programs that help build your academic skills to Diploma courses that lead directly into a selection of UC's Bachelor courses, UCC is a great option for applicants who do not meet the requirements to enter directly into university. For more information on the programs offered at UCC, visit the UCC information page or get in touch with UCC staff at

Apply for a research course

All of our research courses are run directly through the UC Research Students Office. All prospective applicants should visit the Research Students Office information page or contact

Detailed information on all courses offered at UC can be found by searching our online course finder. This will guide you on the admission requirements, English language proficiency requirements and any additional information to help you with your decision.

Some of our courses require a supplementary form in addition to your application. Check to see if the course you are applying for requires a supplementary application form before you apply.

All applicants wishing to study at UC must meet the English proficiency requirements for entry to their chosen course. For detailed information, visit UC's English proficiency requirements information page.

Our admission dates let you know when UC courses are open for direct applications. If you are applying through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) check the UAC admission dates as they may differ from our direct admission dates.

Ranked courses

You should also check to see if the course you are interested in is a ranked course.

Ranked courses have limited places, and therefore are competitive and have specific entry requirements. Some ranked courses have an early closing date due to the additional time required to assess entries.

To make sure our international students get the most out of their UC experience there are a number of additional requirements to be reviewed.

See International application requirements for details before applying.

UC offers a number of entry initiatives that give applicants the opportunity to gain entry to the University via alternative admissions schemes.

Our entry schemes are offered to both applicants who are currently studying in school and those who may have been out of study for some time.

Before you apply, check your eligibility to the schemes offered at UC to give you the best possible chance to study with us.

Visit alternative entry for details on the admissions schemes offered before applying.
