2011
15th December - The 2011 year end processing dates are now available for viewing.
20th April- The 2011 Budget Book has now been published by Financial Services.
3rd March - Financial Services have issued guidelines on submitting invoices which must be met before they can be processed.
20th January - The University and the Commonwealth Bank have partnered together to provide a new Student & Staff ID card, called the UC1Card.

The UC1Card combines existing university card functionality with prepaid scheme debit functionality supported by the Commonwealth Bank.
13th January - Updated information is now available on Payment Cards (MasterCard and Travelex), which are used by staff who incur expenses during the course of University business.
2010
7th October - We Have Moved. Financial Services & Commercial Services (previously Procurement) have relocated to Building 18, 170 Haydon Drive effective 11 October 2010.
This move will enable the University to continue to upgrade the Student facilities available in and around Building 1.
A number of our processes have to change. Please see attached for a brief summary. Further queries or questions can be directed to Matt O’Brien, Director, Financial Services or Maxine Danaro, Financial Operations (and Projects).
Financial Operations are on site (Room 1D111) each Monday-10am to 12 noon. You can arrange to collect MasterCards, Travelex Cards or 'collect' cheques or drop material to us direct. {Note that we have changed our onsite day from Friday to Monday due to popular demand.

22nd July - Financial Services are about to start the upgrade process of Finance One to 11.08. This process is expected to complete in September. The look and feel of Finance One should not be too different from what you have now. If there is new functionality that relates to your area/role then this will be communicated closer to the time with training if needed.
6th May – The University has now released iCMS, the new expense management system for staff to submit all expense claims and credit card acquittals. iCMS training dates have been released. Please book if you need training in how to use this system.
This means that Virgin Blue and V Australia have been added to Qantas as our preferred airlines for domestic and international travel (except between Australia and China). Air China is our preferred airline on flights to and from China.
