Unless this is a salary packaged item, Qantas club lounge membership is not a University approved expense.

Any staff member who charges this to their credit card will be required to refund the money to the University. If staff claim this as a University expense the claim will be rejected.

Qantas offer for personal membership

Qantas offers University staff the opportunity to join the Qantas Club at reduced corporate rates. Membership of the Qantas Club provides you with access to over 250 lounges worldwide whenever you fly Qantas. You may also be able to access partner and oneworld lounges when you fly with Qantas partner airlines, British Airways, American Airlines and US Airways.

There is a once-only joining fee of $230 and an annual carriers* (*conditions apply) membership fee of $325 or $570 for a two-year membership (GST inclusive). This represents significant savings on individual membership rates.

Staff wishing to join the Qantas Club should complete the appropriate Qantas membership form from their website. The University's corporate identifier number for membership application can be obtained by email.

Please note that the University does not fund membership of the Qantas Club on behalf of University staff.
