The Science Resorce Centre (SRC) supports and enhances the learning of students studying first year units offered by the Faculty of Science using peer-teaching-peer and inquiry based learning methods.

We provide students with

• access to computers, a printer and other resources,
• An extra tutorial program for most first year units and some second year units at no cost to you 
• meeting areas and
• access to an academic member of staff for advice on academic and university issues.

A Place to Meet

The SRC aims to provide a comfortable and relaxed environment for students to sit down and study or to have a cup of tea and a chat. This is an ideal opportunity for first year students to mingle with older students, tutors and academic staff.

Student Activities

Students are encouraged to participate in various activities offered through the SRC, such as

• extension work with schools through the Mt. Jerrabomberra Education Centre,
• volunteer or paid work on research projects, and
• teaching in the extra tutorial program.
