UCC Preparatory programs and CIT Pathways

Science courses at UC assume some level of knowledge at senior secondary level. There are bridging courses provided through the University of Canberra College (UCC) for students who would like to refresh or build their basic science knowledge before beginning their studies.

General information about UCC for Australian students  

Chemistry Preparation consists of an online component which runs from mid December through to late January, concluding with Tutorials and Laboratory Classes scheduled for Monday 24 January and Tuesday 25 January.

Biology Preparation

Some courses at CIT have specific articulation with science courses at UC with generous credit arrangements. These can be explored at the CIT pathways site.  At the site you can search either by the CIT course or by the UC degree name.  For example, you will find there are 8 pathways from CIT into the Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Biology, 6 with the Bachelor of Science and 3 with the Bachelor of Environmental Science.
