SNEDDEN HALL & GALLOP Lawyers - Annual University Scholarship for Legal Studies
As part of their community legal education programme, Snedden Hall & Gallop offer two annual scholarships to students from ACT colleges who have the desire and the ability to study law at a university level.
The university scholarship is a unique mechanism for Snedden Hall & Gallop to establish a positive link with the next generation of lawyers and to make a contribution to the education of future lawyers.
The scholarships recognise scholastic ability and, in a practical way, assist the two successful students by offering them $6,000 over their first three years of legal studies. However, the scholarships are far more than financial assistance to study law because, historically, past scholarship recipients have also been offered work experience and work as paralegals with Snedden Hall & Gallop. For further information, please visit the Snedden Hall & Gallop website.
UC Scholarships
Scholarships are available for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate study. These scholarships are funded by the University of Canberra, the Commonwealth Government or community organisations; some are funded by a joint partnership between the University and community organisations.
Scholarships are provided in recognition of academic excellence or research potential, and some scholarships are provided to assist needy students.
The University advertises new scholarships as they become available through the University's newspaper, "The Monitor", on the Scholarships noticeboard in Building 1, and via the University's Email service.
Further information on scholarships can be obtained from the Scholarships and Prizes Office.
