Summer Research Scholarships 2011/2012

The Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (ISE) at the University of Canberra consist of three interrelated disciplines: Information Systems, Software Engineering, and Mathematics and Statistics. Each discipline conducts a vigorous program of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching complemented by engagement with the professions, partnerships with industry, and active research programs.


The ISE Summer Research Scholarships are offered to third or final year undergraduate and postgraduate students (including current Honours students) who are currently enrolled at universities in Australia and New Zealand and are interested in pursuing an Honours program or a higher degree by research in IT, Information Systems , Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Scienceor other areas relevant to the Disciplines of ISE – www.canberra.edu.au/faculties/ise. Funding of $5000 is available per scholarship.

Students will have an opportunity to work full time with leading scientists on an exciting research project.

Duration

  • 28 November 2011 – 3 February 2012
  Please note the University will be closed for the Christmas period 24 December until 3 January.
