The Faculty of ISE has launched a new undergraduate course Bachelor of Information Technology in Mainframe Computing which won't cost students a cent. For more information, please see this article published on Monitor Online on August 9.

Run in partnership with Global Online Learning the University is offering

The Bachelor of Information Technology in Mainframe Computing will see Australia's IT talent recruited after the first year of an IT-related degree at any Australian university or completion of a TAFE Diploma. They'll complete their degree over 3 years through a unique delivery model, mixing summer schools and online learning while working full time for an employer who will also fund their studies.

The Masters of Information Technology in Mainframe Technology (Advanced) provides state of the art knowledge relating to Mainframe Computing. This will include designing, developing and documenting complex multi-program applications and evaluating  factors affecting resource requirements in a corporate mainframe environment.
