Naroa Etxebarria

Naroa is a teaching fellow in Sports Studies and her main role is lecturing Biochemistry of Exercise. She has mainly worked in applied physiology and is passionate about understanding how physiological and biochemical changes within the body can translate into training adaptations in well trained individuals. Her current research area is triathlon and physiological determinants affecting athletic performance. Naroa enjoys working with athletes to try and enhance their performance through applied sports science.

Naroa loves running, great food, traveling and playing with and obedience training her monster German Shepherd 'Jeiki' (they're both not v. obedient)!
