John is the Course Convenor of Sports Management and his research interests are in the motivational influences for men's participation in sport; and the facilitating affect of male sport and leisure repertoires before and after the transition to mid-life. John is a member of the Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand and the Australian and New Zealand Association for Leisure Studies. His other interests include cycling and motorcycling.
