Jenny is a midwife and a nurse who has a love of all things education and a growing fondness for research. She believes in people taking responsibility for their own health decisions and in health professionals working in partnership with people to enhance their possibilities, during both wellness and illness.
Jennys research interests are in midwifery and education and include specific issues such as how we come to take up as our own the positions we do in midwifery and how we can understand possibilities for personhood in the process of childbirth, and general issues such as feminism, poststructuralism, gender and class, as they relate to health.
