Dr Catherine Hungerford is a Registered Nurse and endorsed Nurse Practitioner, and credentialed as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN). She has wide experience in the clinical, education, management and research streams of mental health nursing, in a variety of rural and metropolitan contexts. Catherine convenes the post graduate courses in mental health nursing at the University of Canberra, and works hard to ensure that these courses reflect her passion for bridging the divide between theory and practice. Catherine is also actively involved in raising the professional profile of mental health nursing and is currently the Chair of the ACT Branch of the ACMHN and also of the National Research Committee of the College.
