Learning Resource Centre and Computer Laboratory (12C26)

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) in the Faculty of Health is located at 12C26 and is designed for use by all students within the Faculty of Health for independent study. 

Opening times for the Health LRC are:
Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm


Learning Support for Undergraduate Students (12C26)

If you would like more help with your studies, a drop-in service is now available in the LRC for students studying any of the units from the Faculty of Health. It is facilitated by post-graduate or third year undergraduate level students from the Faculty of Health, so they will have excellent experience and the necessary skills to help you.  These student facilitators will work across disciplines with students with generic learning  issues such as:

       Essay structure Tutorial presentations  Referencing
       Research skills Exam preparation  Exam technique

Drop-in service opening times for the Health LRC are:

Nursing         Monday - 3-5pm
Nursing         Tuesday - 12-2pm
Psychology     Wednesday 1:30-3:30pm
Pharmacy      Wednesday 12:30-2:30pm
Psychology     Friday 9:30-11:30am


Science Resource Centre (3A37)

Maths/computer/statistics sessions for Faculty of Applied Science students, including Psychology students, are run on

Thursday - 11:30am-12:20pm 
Friday - 12:30pm-1:20pm  


ISE Student Resource Centre

Maths support at UC is provided by the ISE Student Resource Centre in Bld 11.
