Teaching and learning in the Faculty of Health

Learning and teaching occurs in a purpose-built building, with well-equipped laboratories, hospital-like wards, kitchens including institutional cooking and refrigeration equipment, pharmacy dispensing units, and a range of physical laboratories for exercise and physical assessment.

Central to our courses in health is a focus on work-integrated learning.The Faculty hosts a Health Clinic - staffed by fully qualified professionals, and a Placement Office to assist students to undertake work-integrated learning as part of their studies. Our unique blend of health professions has led to opportunities for inter-professional learning between discipline groups within the Faculty of Health.
