Student being taught one on oneA qualification in Community Studies opens up a world of opportunities for a rewarding career where you can make a positive difference to individuals and communities. The possibilities are wonderfully diverse. Our graduates work on a wide range of issues in both government and community organisations developing policy, providing training or service co-ordination, or as project officers.

Some work with clients in residential services, mental health settings or phone counselling. Others are in youth work, health education, environmental action or work as adult educators, teachers in tertiary institutions, teachers in the community and as human resource development consultants. There are many who work interstate or overseas. Community Studies courses open doors to many jobs join us and make a difference.

To deliver effective change and development to government corporations, communities and individuals, counsellors and adult and community educators are increasingly required to work in highly volatile political and socio-economic environments. So those people who refine their expertise, creativity and critical thinking will be in demand. They will attract premium salaries.
