Abstract
This research attempts to fill a gap in the electoral mobilisation literature by exploring the role of political party to mobilise voters in the elections at the local levels. Especially, this study is aimed at analysing the role of political party in mobilising voters in the local elections of heads of districts in North Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. This research will use a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches. Results of this research will contribute to study on electoral mobilization by political party especially in the local elections. It can help to answer the lack of explanation on political party’s action in the local level.
Potential Implication for Policy Reform or Management Process:
Provide contribution useful for improving decentralisation process in Indonesia
