ABOUT THE COURSE

The Bachelor of Politics & International Relations provides students with an in-dept understanding of the exciting discipline of politics and international relations. Students will learn about the workings of political institutions in countries around the world and explore the complex field of relations between nations.

Students may complete an optional internship unit in the final year of study and most students also have the option to complete a semester of study at an international partner institution through the study abroad program. This program provides a strong degree of flexibility through the ability to choose an optional open major from more than 50 fields across all 7 faculties of the university.


LENGTH OF STUDY

The Bachelor of Politics & International Realtions is typically studied over 3 years full time (or an equivalent period part time). Students commencing in Semester 1 have the option of completing a 2.5 year accelerated program through study in the optional winter term.


DOUBLE DEGREE OPTIONS

The Bachelor of Politics & International Relations can be combined with the Bachelors of Applied Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, Science in Psychology or the Diploma of Languages (4 year programs) or with the Bachelor of Laws (5 year program).
