ABOUT THE COURSE
The aim of the Bachelor of Commerce program is to develop business professionals who have the relevant knowledge and skills for admission to their respective professional communities but who are also equiped to solve problems within a multi-disciplinary business environment. Graduates will appreciate their chosen discipline in the context of the wider social, legal, economic and political environment.
Students may complete an optional internship unit in the final year of study and most students also have the option to complete a semester of study at an international partner institution through the study abroad program. This program provides a strong degree of flexibility through the ability to choose an optional open major from more than 50 fields across all 7 faculties of the university.

LENGTH OF STUDY
The Bachelor of Commerce is typically studied over 3 years full time (or an equivalent period part time). Students commencing in Semester 1 have the option of completing a 2.5 year accelerated program through study in the optional winter term (select majors only).
DOUBLE DEGREE OPTIONS
The Bachelor of Commerce can be combined with the Bachelor degrees in Applied Economics, Politics & International Relations, Tourism Management, Arts, Arts in International Studies, Advertising & Marketing Communication, Information Technology (4 year programs), the Bachelor of Laws (5 year program), or the Diploma in Languages (4 year program).
