ABOUT THE COURSE

The Bachelor of Building & Construction Management will teach you management and supervision techniques specific to the building industry while developing detailed knowledge about building processes and materials.

Construction managers need to fully understand legal frameworks and the roles of various players within the industry, as well as being skilled technologically to manage their projects.

After 3 industry based co-operative educational placements students will know what the real world of building management is all about.

This program provides a strong degree of flexibility through the ability to choose an optional open major from more than 50 fields across all 7 faculties of the university.

The Bachelor of Building & Construction Management is accredited by the Australian Institute of Building and the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.


LENGTH OF STUDY

The Bachelor of Building & Construction Management is typically studied over 3.5 years full time (or an equivalent period part time). Students commencing in Semester 1 have the option of completing a 3 year accelerated program through study in the optional winter term.


DOUBLE DEGREE OPTIONS

The Bachelor of Building & Construction Management can be combined with the Diploma in Languages (Chinese, Japanese or Spanish) in a 4.5 year program.
