Bachelor of Business Administration (Hong Kong)

The University of Canberra Bachelor of Business Administration program has been in operation since June 2002, in cooperation with the Institute of Advanced Learning. The course is taught over four 12-week terms per year. Subjects are conducted using staff from University of Canberra with assistant tutors from Hong Kong.

The BBA program is designed for individuals who work in a commercial environment, either in the private or public sectors. As well as acquiring a broad knowledge of all the major business disciplines, students will complete majors in management and in one other specialised field. Students will develop a broad range of analytical skills necessary to function successfully in a business environment.

The aim of the program is to develop well-rounded business professionals who are equipped to solve problems within a multi-disciplinary business environment. Graduates will also have a high level of generic attributes and skills, consistent with the expectations of the University and the wider professional community.


Course Structure

Students must complete 72 credit points comprising of the following:

  1. required units (30 credit points)
  2. marketing major (24 credit points), and
  3. open electives (18 credit points)
