He also has a deep interest in Indigenous senses of place, spatial concepts, nomenclature, storytelling, cosmology, and traditional knowledge. He has been conducting research on Indigenous conceptions of landscape for nearly a decade, including fieldwork with the Inuit of Arctic Quebec.
