Bio: Sally Burford

  • is a Senior Lecturer in Knowledge and Information Studies in the Faculty of Arts and Design at the University of Canberra.

  • is the Course Convenor for the Master of Information Studies.

  • teaches in internet communication and knowledge management.

  • is undertaking doctoral research is in the area of web information architecture and her early findings were published in  a paper titled: Understanding how Organisations achieve Effective Web Information Architecture using a Grounded Theory Approach. This paper was awarded the Paul Thistlewaite prize for Best Conference Paper at AusWeb 2008.

  • is working with colleagues at UC (the Knowledge and Information Studies group) researching in the area of Knowledge Management standards and guidelines and how they are used in organisations. Read more
