Languages and Linguistics Cluster
Aims and objectives: To undertake and disseminate research into Language Studies and Linguistics. Research in the Languages and Linguistics Cluster contributes to an active and inclusive research culture in the Faculty of Arts and Design. Research in the Languages and Linguistics Cluster has a local (step 38) as well as a global outlook on the world (step 34). The cluster’s research activities are closely related to its members’ teaching disciplines: TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages/FLT (Foreign Language Teaching) and Language Studies (Chinese, Japanese, Spanish).
