Submission Guidelines
Submissions for FIRST 2012 are now open.
FIRST is open to all UC students. Submit your best original creative work on any theme. We accept fiction and creative non-fiction (a strict 2000-word maximum limit applies), poetry, sequential art, comics, graphic short stories, visuals, short film/theatre/radio scripts (maximum length seven minutes).
Multiple submissions are accepted (a maximum of four submissions per person). Work must not have been previously published.
Submissions will not be returned. Submissions must be in both hard copy and email The usual stipulations apply: it must be original work, spell-checked, proofread and typed, double spaced on A4 pages. You must include a cover sheet with your contact details and a word count for each submission.
NO AUTHOR'S NAME IS TO APPEAR ON ANY SUBMISSIONS, WHICH ARE READ BLIND.
Submissions close end of Week 6.
