The Divisional structure of the University will be dissolved as from 1 January 2008. The Division of Business, Law and Information Sciences (BLIS) has approximately 3310 students enrolled in the areas of accounting, banking and finance, business administration, tourism management, business informatics, commerce and economics, government, politics and public administration, human resources, information technology, international business, law, management and marketing, maths and statistics, performance audit and evaluation and software engineering. BLIS is currently developing a partnership scheme that aims to encourage the two-way flow of information between business, industry and academics and to ensure an informed and relevant curriculum in the disciplines of business, law and information sciences.
