The University and the Commonwealth Bank previously partnered together to provide a Student & Staff ID card, called the UC1 Card.
The University ceased issuing UC1 cards for students on 23 November 2015. From 28 March 2016 the payment functionality of the current UC1 Student Cards will no longer be available for use. However the student UC1 card will be continued to be used as a student identification card, for building access and printing until the card expires.
If students have money left on their UC1 card, it will need to be withdrawn before 28 March 2016. It's quick and easy to make a withdrawal at any Commonwealth Bank ATM or use your card for purchases anywhere MasterCard is accepted. If you don't withdraw all your money by this date, you'll need to visit a CommBank branch to redeem your funds.

You can check the balance by logging in (you will only be able to do this if you have previously activated your card). If you have forgotten your password please contact the Commonwealth Bank Customer Service Centre on 13 15 76.
If you have forgotten the pin number to your UC1 Card, you can login to your online account and reset your password. If you cannot login to your online account please contact the Commonwealth Bank Customer Service Centre on 13 15 76.
The UC1 Card for staff combines university card functionality with reloadable prepaid MasterCard functionality supported by the Commonwealth Bank. The UC1 Card is available to staff only.
To activate your UC1 Card click on the UC1 Cardholder Portal link below and follow the easy instructions to activate your card. You will need to enter your registration code, which is made up of your date of birth in a DDMMYY format.
Remember, regularly check your UC1 Card transactions are correct. Your transactions are available for you to view online. Select "Login to your UC1 account" to view your transactions.
