Many UC degrees can incorporate an international experience; this may include an Internship, a faculty led tour, community project, or a clinical placement. International experience is a great way to expand your mind and professional network, so when you start at UC, why not think about an International work integrated learning (WIL) experience to undertake as part of your degree.
International internships take time to organise and plan correctly. Please make sure you note application dates and timelines for the programs you are interested in. Students are required to have a strong academic record in order to participate in an endorsed UC international internship program.

Asiania International Consultancy
Asiania International Consultancy (AIC) run out of Thailand, and offer short term mobility, student exchange, and internship programs. AIC provides a variety of choices of education and experience programs in a wide range of ASEAN countries, and is a proud partner of UC.
CIS Australia is dedicated to providing Australians innovative, high quality overseas study, intern and volunteer experiences. CIS currently provide short term mobility and internship opportunities to UC students.
CRCC Asia have partnered with ACT Government to run the Canberra-Shenzen Innovation Internship Program, and offer a number of internship programs within Asia.
Undertaking an internship overseas can add real value to your degree whilst developing a greater understanding of yourself and the world in which you live. There are sometimes scholarships and funding to assist the cost of participating in an internship program; enquire with the Study Abroad office for more information.OS-Help funding may be available for eligible students to help with the cost of many programs, including internships.

Uni-Capital Washington Internship (UCWIP) :The UCWIP internship is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work in the US Congress while living in Washington DC. This fantastic opportunity is available to University of Canberra undergraduate students who have completed at least one year of study at the time of departure. Successful applicants will be awarded a placement at a participating Congressional Office. Students will work full-time, performing administrative and substantive duties.

Teaching Assistant Internship at Deggendorf: Our Study Abroad partner Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences are offering paid Teaching Assistant Internships. Within this internship you are able to stay for periods of three months or longer to offer as well as assist teaching staff for beginning classes in English in certain fields with their teaching staff and language centre.
