Student Support — Queensland

As a University of Canberra student based at one of the TAFE Queensland locations, you will benefit from access to the full range of services provided by your home campus. Support services enquiries should be made with TAFE Queensland Brisbane student support and resources, TAFE Queensland Gold Coast student support,in TAFE Queensland North and TAFE Queensland East Coast in the first instance.

You will also be able to access available UC Library resources and off campus services.

Study Help

You can access more of UC’s Study Help information via UCLearn (Canvas) at www.canberra.edu.au/studyhelp.

An Academic Integrity module is available for students to enrol in via UCLearn (Canvas) at AIM – www.canberra.edu.au/aim.This course will help develop your knowledge and understanding of academic integrity, in particular how to avoid plagiarism, whether intentional or unintentional.

You will need to be logged in to UCLearn (Canvas) to access modules, and will be prompted to ‘enrol’ when you first visit. Modules will then be found via your Canvas Dashboard and on the ‘Pages’ section of your unit sites in the “Resources for Students” page in Canvas.

Online Tutoring

As a UC student, you also have access to 30 free online tutoring sessions through Studiosity per semester. Studiosity provides you with personalised, online study help. You can access Studiosity in the Course Menu of every UCLearn (Canvas) site.

Studiosity’s subject or writing specialists can help you if you’re stuck on a question from 3pm til late most days, or provide feedback on your draft writing 24/7.

Brisbane:

UC Students now have access to services funded under the Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF). These new services are:

Academic Skills Advisor and Student Academic Mentors.
