Student Support

As a University of Canberra student based at one of our overseas locations, you will benefit from access to the full range of services provided by your home campus. Enquiries should be made with the student support service at your home institution listed below. You will also be able to access available UC Library resources and off campus services.

Students are expected to understand their rights and responsibilities as described in the University of Canberra's Student Charter.

Canvas Support

Canvas is the University's learning management system. The UC Learn (Canvas) Guide for Students provides an overview of UCLearn (Canvas) and will help you locate learning materials and assessment tasks for your study.

Study Help

You can access more of UC’s Study Help information via UCLearn (Canvas) at www.canberra.edu.au/studyhelp.

As a UC student, you also have access to several free Studiosity (online tutoring) sessions per semester. Studiosity provides you with personalised, online study help. You can access Studiosity in the Course Menu of every UCLearn (Canvas) site.

An Academic Integrity module is available for students to enrol in via UCLearn (Canvas) at AIM – www.canberra.edu.au/aim.This course will help develop your knowledge and understanding of academic integrity, in particular how to avoid plagiarism, whether intentional or unintentional.

You will need to be logged in to UCLearn (Canvas) to access modules, and will be prompted to ‘enrol’ when you first visit. Modules will then be found via your Canvas Dashboard and on the ‘Pages’ section of your unit sites in the “Resources for Students” page in Canvas.

UC students at ECUST will be able to access ECUST’s facilities and other student support services including:

Language Training

ECUST provides students with courses in basic knowledge for Management before the MBA commences in order to ensure students understand the study method of the program.

Library

MBA students have full access to the ECUST library. The ECUST School of Business also provides study rooms and computer labs.

Careers Services

The ECUST School of Business offers a Career Development Service which is open for all Professional Degree Centre students. The service offers career forums, speeches and career tutor plans.

UC students at NBU will be able to access NBU’s facilities and other student support services including:

Library

MBA students have full access to the NBU library, which also provides study rooms, computer labs and academic writing and study skills resources.

Students can also log on to the local NBU website and download additional learning materials and PowerPoints.
