- Are you a new student to UC? Would you like more social events and support programs?
UC Belong is a program designed to enhance your well being and sense of belonging at UC. Throughout the semester workshops, activities and student focused events will be held to provide an opportunity for you to meet new friends, achieve greater success and enjoyment with your studies. See below for more information on our mentoring program and the events being run in Semester 2, 2018.
Peer Mentoring 2018
Are you new to university and feeling overwhelmed or stressed? The UC Belong Peer Mentoring program can help you stay on track to achieve your goals. Peer Mentors are current students who understand the challenges of being a university student. Over a free coffee they can support you to develop strategies to cope with your study commitments, manage your time and point you in the right direction to access other support services.
Located in the Student Resource Centre (SRC) Building 6, Level B, Peer Mentors are available for drop-ins every week of Semester 2 on the below days and times.
- Tuesday 10:00am-11:00am
- Thursday 3:00-4:00pm
Look for the friendly staff with tea, coffee and biscuits! Contact email@example.com or call 6206 8841 to find out more.
You can also meet our peer mentors at any Student Welfare Event!
Each semester UC Students have the opportunity to participate in numerous events across campus. At Welfare we strongly recommend students embrace the opportunities offered through participation in these events - you never know who you will meet or what skills you will develop!
A dynamic list of events available for you to participate in can be found on the UC Events page.
