Support for Students with Disability

Inclusion & Engagement coordinates and implements services and supports to assist students with disability or ongoing health conditions. This is achieved through the provision of reasonable adjustments to enable equal access and participation in university life.

For support at UC Bruce Campus, visit Inclusion & Engagement’s Contact Us page.

University of Canberra students based in Queensland, Sydney or Melbourne can access the full range of services provided by their home campus. For more information visit the Queensland student support pageSydney student support page or Melbourne student support page.

Who can register for disability support?

You are eligible to register if you:

  • have a disability
  • experience injury or illness
  • are diagnosed with a medical or mental health condition
  • are the primary carer of someone with disability and/or continuing health condition.

Support is available whether your condition is permanent, fluctuating or temporary. Eligibility is determined at a registration appointment with an Inclusion Advisor.

You may register for disability support at any time during your studies. Please contact Inclusion & Engagement as early as possible to enable us to arrange your support in a timely manner.
