International Student Support Service (ISSS)

The International Student Support Service is a dedicated and specialized advice and referral service for the University of Canberra's International Student community. The ISSS team is staffed by experienced, friendly and knowledgeable International Student Advisors (ISAs).The International Student Support Service provides dedicated advice, referral, and assistance for international students including:

  • International Student Orientation
  • Student Visa and eCoE enquiries.
  • Australia Awards scholarship support
  • Guidance about University services, policies and processes.

Registration and Orientation Week

Winners of 2012 UC Amazing RaceThe International Student Welcome and Information Session is held on the first day of the Orientation Week of each Semester.  We also organize other activities for international students during Orientation Week.  For more information, including registration, please refer to the Orientation Page.

Personal Adviser Scheme (PAS)

PA Meeting Student All international coursework students are allocated a Personal Adviser from their faculty when they commence studies at UC.  For more information please contact us at pas@canberra.edu.au.

International Student Leadership Program 2016

Are you an International student with a passion to make a positive contribution to the University? Do you want to enhance your communication and interpersonal skills while building University and community-wide networks? Do you want to improve your employability prospects?

If so, we invite you to get involved in the International Student Leadership Program.

The program provides opportunities for international students to run projects and events that will contribute to enhancing the student experience at UC. Funding and awards are available.
