Syllabus

In this unit the ability to critically appraise research into the diagnosis and treatment of conditions treated by allied health professionals including physiotherapists is developed, and application of epidemiological research to the management of individual patients is learned.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will:

1. Have the capacity to evaluate and apply an evidence based approach to healthcare decisions and patient management. This competency will be demonstrated and integrated into clinical practice.

Corequisites

Must be enrolled in Bachelor of Physiotherapy, 202JA.
