    Syllabus

    This design studio explores the meaning and treatment of the Australian landscape as it has been utilised and represented through literary, pictorial, oral, and visual forms. The studio focuses on rural, regional and remote parts of Australia.

    Learning Outcomes

    On completion of this unit, students will be able to:

    1. demonstrate creative ways to analyse, interpret, and represent space and place in rural, regional and remote parts and Australia;

    2. generate designs at the conceptual level;

    3. demonstrate strong oral, written and visual communication skills.

    Prerequisites

    Must pass (1) unit: 8971 Studio 5 or
    8719 Design Studio 3.1 (Landscape Architecture).
