This unit is an industry-based internship. It is a form of work-integrated learning in which students participate in a business informatics workplace for the purpose of applying theory to practice and to evaluate the realities of business informatics work. Students will be able to use this experience to reflect critically on their field of study, as well as to develop their professional and personal skills. Students in ICT cadetships or with significant industry experience would not normally be permitted to enroll in this unit.
