    Syllabus

    This unit is designed to strengthen student research knowledge and skills in occupational therapy. Student will use advanced research skills in literatures searching, appraising the literature, writing a literature review and proposing a methodology to answer a research question relevant to occupational therapy.

    Learning Outcomes

    On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

    1. Apply a method for an advanced literature search;

    2. Synthesise the available evidence into a literature review; and

    3. Demonstrate advanced research methods to propose a methodology to answer a relevant research question.

    The number of hours will be negotiated at the start of the Honours project.

    Prerequisites

    Must have passed Research Planning PG, 6486.

    Corequisites

    Must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, 373JA.
