Introduction:
Social experience is being transformed with new forms of identity and new social problems emerging. This Minor provides an opportunity for students to sociologically explore their contemporary social worlds. How do social patterns shape who we are, what we can do, our access to resources, and the ways we make meaningful lives? How do we individually and collectively understand, act on and experience the social terrain we inhabit? It may be taken as an Open Minor by students enrolled in any degree course of the University.
