Admission Requirements

Applicants must have an Honours degree, a Graduate Certificate or a Graduate Diploma in a cognate discipline as approved by the University.

Students with a Bachelor's degree in a cognate discipline and who have four or more years of relevant work experience may also apply. In making an offer to an applicant, the University will give consideration to a range of factors including English proficiency, academic record and/or employment experience.

Use a range of social research methods relevant to strategic communication; The capacity and intention to use professional knowledge and skills ethically and responsibly, for the benefit of others and the environment.
Link communication research, planning, implementation and evaluation to organisational strategic plans; The ability to apply problem-solving processes in novel situations; to identify and analyse problems then formulate and implement solutions.
Demonstrate critical thinking and vision needed to address mid to long-term strategic communication issues; The ability to apply problem-solving processes in novel situations; to identify and analyse problems then formulate and implement solutions.

The capacity and intention to use professional knowledge and skills ethically and responsibly, for the benefit of others and the environment.
Counsel senior management on strategic communication and to lead teams within organisations The abilty to present knowledge, ideas and opinions effectively and communicate within and across professional and cultural boundaries.
