Exciting New Courses commencing in 2009Please visit our New Courses page for details. Good News for Postgraduate Students!Commonwealth Supported Places are now available for Australian students enrolling now for most of our postgraduate degrees by coursework commencing in Semester 1 2009. Our CoursesAny course of study at the University of Canberra will provide you with the essential communication, critical thinking, problem solving, information technology and teamwork skills sought by employers. We have a strong focus on careers in the professions, and our courses are regularly updated to ensure that they are current and reflect international thinking and trends. A number of our courses also offer a practical element, where you can complete industry-based experience, giving you the opportunity to apply your skills and get a taste for the workplace.
Course ElectivesA number of undergraduate courses of the University offer elective majors of units to students. An elective major can often be undertaken in a faculty other than the faculty administering a student's course. Use the Majors and Minors links to view what combinations are available. Units (Subjects)Each course is comprised of a number of units. Some units are required for a course, while others are open to choice. The list of Units is still arranged by our former Academic Schools (pre 2008). These should be treated as broad subject categories until our database is rearranged by our current Faculties (see below). UC Faculties
