This course prepares graduates for a variety of science-related careers. In particular, it forms a sound basis for employment in a wide range of biological and medical research laboratories, as well as in government regulatory labs.

The course emphasises a breadth of clinical diagnostic expertise so that graduates can take leading roles in regional laboratories or work as specialists in various medical disciplines, including diagnostic pathology.

Careers

Completion of the Bachelor of Medical Science degree facilitates entry into a wide variety of employment opportunites.

Students also choose this course to prepare for entry into postgraduate medicine, pharmacy, forensics and medical research.

INT-F2F: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode (check with unit convener for time of lectures, tutorials etc.)

INT-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode with online teaching

ONL: Online delivery only (no face-to-face teaching)

Face-to-face: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, supported by material on Moodle, our online teaching system.

STD-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, and online teaching.
